What started as a spec project quickly became a new home for a growing family. The distinctive architecture of Furman+Keil Architects and Shoberg Homes fine construction was an immediate draw for this young family. WWD was fortunate to be a part of the team from construction to finished product, including furnishings, for the new owners. We were able to bring the warmth and easy lifestyle living they were wanting for active young children.
What started as a small remodel bloomed into a full remodel to accommodate a big family needing lots of space and updated interiors. Taken to the studs then beautifully re-crafted by Shoberg Homes. Great attention was paid to fine cabinetry details and hardware, earthy textures in tile and surfaces. Some of the standout selections are a stunning leather dining chandelier a smooth plaster finish in the master shower and a beautiful green marble in the bar lounge. It’s always a pleasure creating beautiful interiors with clients.
When a fun family has great taste and enjoys the process you have a winning project every time. This extensive remodel by Capstone Builders and architect Mark Richardson was truly a special project. Color, family friendly and easy entertaining was the directive and we took it all the way from custom wallpaper to giant kitchen sinks. And, of course, the moose mount was carefully incorporated to oversee it all.
A special view deserved a special remodel. This house, situated on a hilltop with downtown views, needed to take advantage of location with bigger windows and outdoor entertaining spaces. Working with the family to update their living area, we added significant square footage and furnishings to complete the family space.
It was a joy to be on the team for this well designed new construction project built by Burnish and Plumb. Working with the homeowners to see their vision realized for a comfortable, family friendly yet elegant home was an honor. New and custom furnishings reflected the unique and eclectic style of the homeowners to create a special timeless space. Ask me the story about the custom chandelier sometime..
This beautiful home made the cover of Lux Magazine and I am grateful to be a part of the construction and furnishing of this Shoberg Homes masterpiece. Built for an active family of boys, there was special care in the selection of materials and surfaces. Beauty can be very family friendly when done thoughtfully.
Designed and built for a family who appreciates a mid-century modern aesthetic, this residence kept the warmth and unique character of family heirlooms mixed with custom additions and a contemporary setting. Working with the clients from construction to finish we blended new and old, modern and classic, clean lines with comfort.
There is a relaxed, casual feeling intended for entertaining family and friends in this lake house getaway. Working with the design from concept and architectural plans through construction to complete furnishings this second home beckons as the peaceful retreat my clients were seeking.

The vision was a second home built to entertain visiting guests and take advantage of resort living. WWD worked on the project from floorplan conception and construction through furnishings to insure that space was thoughtfully planned for the comfort of many guests or weekends with just the owners wanting to enjoy Austin. Classic and timeless material selections were made with an emphasis on easy care and a leisure lifestyle.
From construction to new furnishings this home in the hills of Westlake was thoughtfully curated. The owners appreciated the details of fine millwork and clean lines. Together we created many custom and unique moments for this house, from the steel screen that hides the TV in the living room, one of a kind lighting, bespoke custom furnishings and ceiling beam work. Wyeth Custom Homes and Cornerstone Architecture paid special attention to take advantage of the site, nestled into the Wild Basin hills.
Mixing old and new, nature and art, deco and modern - this project has an eclectic style designed from concept through construction to furnishings. Several pieces were custom made to complete a unique and individual signature that is both glamorous and easy family living.
Cityscape living. Working with my client from architectural conception to furnishings, a texturally rich and modern environment was composed to complement the downtown lifestyle and skyline view.
